With the high popularization and application of information technology,the construction industry has ushered in new innovations.As a new concept and new technology,BIM technology has been put forward and entered a white-hot stage of development,which not only improves the quality of the project,shortens the construction period,improves the investment efficiency,but also promotes the optimization and adjustment of the industrial struct.It is an inevitable trend of the development of information technology in the field of construction engineering.Water resources and hydropower projects are characterized by large scale,complex layout,many specialties involved,long development and construction cycle,large amount of information about construction facilities and great impact on society and ecology.Therefore,it is of great significance to integrate information technology with water resources and hydropower projects in depth and enhance the informatization level of water resources construction.From the perspective of planning and design of water and Hydropower projects,this paper establishes the digital terrain model and BIM building model of sluice and dam projects,and studies the visualization application of the model on this basis.It highlights the transformation and upgrading of the integration of water and hydropower projects and BIM technology in the information age.The main research results are as follows:(1)On the basis of studying the concept,development,application status and technical characteristics of BIM,the types and types of BIM software at home and abroad are summarized.The current situation and existing problems of BIM application in China's water and hydropower engineering industry are analyzed.The data information standard of BIM and the characteristics of software program language are studied.(2)The data structure of digital terrain model is sorted out and the mathematical model of Spline interpolation method is studied.Based on Civil 3D software,the establishment of digital terrain model for sluice dam engineering area is completed,and the application of digital terrain model is summarized simply.(3)A framework for building three-dimensional information model of sluice and dam engineering is studied.On the platform of Revit software,the method and process of building BIM model of sluice and dam project are studied in detail,and the idea of BIM technology is embodied in the process of building model.(4)The application of BIM model in sluice and dam engineering is studied.Revit and Lumion are used as model rendering tools respectively,and their rendering effects are compared and analyzed.The BIM model is lightweight processed,and then the display and view of the dam BIM model on the Web side are completed,and,based on BIM model,the application of sluice dam structure,section and drawing output is studied.
