Automotive industry is currently one of important industrial sectors related to the national economy,as well as causes energy shortages and environmental pollution.Hybrid electric vehicle has a good dynamic performance,while it has low fuel consumption and low exhaust.Fuel consumption of hybrid electric vehicles has a close relationship with its energy management strategy.So energy management strategy has a very important research value.This paper has established the mathematical model of the hybrid electric vehicle`s key components,including engine model,motor model and the battery model.Based on the mathematical model and dynamic programming principle,global optimization energy management strategy of hybrid electric vehicle is established.The strategy set the lowest fuel consumption as the target and is verified by a simulation platform called advisor.It is showed that the global optimization of energy management strategy has very low fuel consumption.While this strategy has a large amount of computation and can not be applied to real-time control.In order to achieve real-time control,predictive control is introduced.Combining the predictive control and dynamic programming algorithm,the predictive control energy management strategy of hybrid electric vehicle is established.Then the strategy is verified by advisor simulation platform.It is showed that predictive control energy management strategy has less fuel consumption than the basic rules energy management strategy included in advisor,but has a bit more fuel consumption than the global optimization energy management strategy.Predictive control energy management strategy is limited to the limitations of prediction perspective,so it is impossible to achieve the global optimum.Although it has a bit more fuel consumption,it enhances the operational efficiency and achieves real-time control.To meet the more complex driving cycle,the energy management strategy of hybrid electric vehicle in complex driving cycle is established.Based on fuzzy control theory,fuzzy controller is designed and fuzzy rule is developed.At the same time,vehicle driving cycle is classified and establish vehicle driving cycle recognition method.
