| MIMO technology as an important component of 4G and 5G system,plays a crucial role for effectively improving bandwidth efficiency.As part of the commercial systems,MIMO theory has been very rich,but there is a urgent need to assess the performance of MIMO systems and operating characteristics.Today,there is no suitable development platform to provide practical environment,most theoretical research of wireless MIMO system still remains in academia Matlab simulation stage.So it is urgent to develop convenient and effective scheme of MIMO simulation and practice,at this stage.Around the MIMO system performance evaluation,the MIMO system is analyzed mainly from two aspects of theorical of simulation and practical verification in this pape.Firstly,we analyzed the characteristics of MIMO communication channel.In the time domain and space domain.,by analyzing the principle of fading channel,with mathematical derivation,we established a MIMO channel propagation model.In the further,we analyzed the spatial diversity technology for space-time coding techniques,with Alamouti coding method in simulation and practical tests.Secondly,the simulation and actual test scheme are given respectively,the simulation scheme is processed by network simulation software NS2 simulation;The actual test scheme is executed on the base of software radio platform(USRP).In order to get the test result the result analysis is given.Finally,we show the entire experiment process and analysis results of MIMO system in USRP platform communication.Experimental results show that both methods are effective,especially the MIMO system built by the USRP platform,is receiving signals by radio frequency antenna that contains real channel information.So we can not only measure the parameters of fading channel,but also can verify the feasibility of MIMO technology in the real world applications.The main innovations of this paper are:1.This article is based on the NS2 simulation software to complete the system simulation and experimental verification.Comparing with general analysis and simulation with the method of Matlab,this article’s approach is more suitable for network.2.In the past,the MIMO analysis are conducted in the simulation part.This paper mainly focuses on the actual scene,and the practical system is constructed to analyze the performance of communication system,the small scale features of free space are discussed in this paper. |
