With the advancement of the times,people have put forward higher requirements for the endurance of electronic equipment.But limited by the low energy density of the battery,people have to find new alternatives.Due to the high energy density of hydrocarbon fuels,people turn to micro heat machines to extend the endurance.The micro internal combustion swing engine has a better power to weight ratio than the conventional piston engine.Compare to the gas turbine,it has a lower fuel consumption level.Therefore,people have begun research on the miniaturization of internal combustion swing engine.For the efficiency deterioration of the miniaturized internal combustion swing engine,this paper is focusing on how to improve the heat-work conversion efficiency of the miniaturized internal combustion swing engine through the heat recuperation.This paper first analyzes the working process of MICSE and MSRE both with heat recovery.The specific inlet conditions of the recuperator when paired with these two engines were determined.By investigating the manufacturing capability of the current metal 3D printing process,the structural form and geometric characteristics of the micro recuperator studied were determined.The flow and heat transfer characteristics of a single tube with different geometrical dimensions were compared by Fluent simulation.Based on this,a simplified cross-section model of the recuperator is established by selecting the channel section with the best comprehensive performance.The effect of solid wall thermal conductivity on the heat recovery performance of large relative wall thickness recuperator under different mass flow rate combinations was studied.In order to realize the recuperator and the MSRE work together,based on the ADAMS,this paper builds a virtual prototype of the MSRE.Through the simulation of the prototype,the motion characteristics of the swing rotor of MSRE in a complete working cycle were obtained.Based on the kinematics simulation results,a set of recuperative gas distribution mechanism for MSRE is proposed.It provides a new idea for the design of the recuperative gas distribution mechanism of the MSRE.Finally,in order to test the actual heat recovery performance of the micro recuperator,a test device for the micro recuperator was designed and built.Based on the virtual instrument technology,the temperature acquisition hardware was designed around NI USB-6009 data acquisition card in this process.The temperature acquisition program was programmed using LabVIEW,and the recuperator temperature data acquisition and recording system was built.Through this test device,the heat recovery performance of the recuperator was tested and verified at a small mass flow rate.
