As a very safe low-altitude and low-speed aircraft,autogyro has its unique advantages in the civil field.At present,autogyro is driven by fuel engine,which not only causes environmental pollution,but also produces great vibration and noise.In this thesis,a more eco-friendly and comfortable all-electric autogyro is designed,including the following work:(1)According to an existing mature autogyro,the refitting design scheme of all-electric autogyro is proposed,the types of batteries and motor used in the electric system are determined,the methods for calculating flight performance and matching parameters of electric system are proposed,and several schemes for improving the endurance performance are proposed.(2)In order to improve flight performance,the aerodynamic optimization design for drag reduction and lift enhancement of all-electric autogyro is carried out,including streamlined fuselage and cowling design,aerodynamic optimization design of small wings with good lift-drag characteristics and spin-rotor.(3)The preliminary overall design scheme of an all-electric autogyro is determined,including the overall aerodynamic configuration,the specifications of batteries and motor,the arrangement of weight and center of gravity,and some overall design parameters.The flight performance and the flight dynamics characteristics are further calculated.
