Real-time location technology has great significance in promoting visualization of manufacturing workshop,refine production management,and intelligent monitoring of discrete workshop.Aiming at the problems of backward data acquisition methods,poor coordination of production plans,the management of work-in-process(WIP),and non-transparent production process in discrete manufacturing workshop,a research on discrete manufacturing process monitoring system based on the real-time positioning technology was proposed,which will help to improve the management of the workshop.The main work of this paper is as follows:Firstly,the problems of discrete manufacturing process was analyzed and the requirement of the real-time location technology was summarized.Then a dynamic running mode of discrete manufacturing process based real-time location technology was proposed after analyzed the shortage of traditional discrete manufacturing process management mode.On this basis,the framework,physical architecture and the function structure of discrete manufacturing process monitoring system based on real-time location were constructed.Secondly,the relevant data involved in the manufacturing process was classified and summarized.On that basis,a new spatio-temporal data model and location based service model were described in details,and the real-time position data of manufacturing elements was integrated into the production data model to describe the production status comprehensively.Thirdly,the significance of work-in-process logistics state analysis for the manufacturing process monitoring were analyzed,and the concept of work-in-process spatio-temporal trajectory was proposed.By mining the WIP frequent spatio-temporal trajectory through clustering methods,a spatio-temporal trajectory similarity calculation method based on time constraint was designed.The abnormal logistics state of WIP was detected by calculating the similarity between WIP real-time trajectory and frequent spatio-temporal trajectory.Fourthly,based on the research above,the Workshop monitoring prototype system includes hardware platform construction,software development environment,operation environment,and the construction of system framework was built.At last,this paper introduced the main functions,and proved the feasibility and validity of the system.
