The distributed generators connected to power system has satisfied the rapidly growth of electric demand as well as relieved the pressure on the environment conducted by the electric power production.So it has significance on improving the reliability of distribution network by taking advantage of distributed generators to reduce the impacted area and time while failure.Therefore,this thesis proposed an operation mode when a fault happened as well as applied the firefly algorithm aiming at the sum of customs value to calculate the island partition.The reliability of distribution network can be enhanced by taking advantage of the operation mode when a fault occurred and established island as this thesis calculated.Firstly,this thesis analyzed the impact conducted by the distributed generators on the protection system of distribution network and proposed an operation mode by taking advantage of the circuit breakers and disconnecting switches when a fault occurs.Then according to the distribution network with distributed generators this thesis proposed a method which can calculate rapidly.The result of the simulation IEEE-RBTS Bus 6 shows the effectiveness of the proposed operation mode.Then this thesis designed a method to calculate island partition by taking advantage of the continuously power supply from distributed generators.This thesis applied firefly algorithm to allocating the distributed generators aiming at the sum of customs value.After simulation in IEEE-RBTS Bus 6,the result shows establishing island as the partition calculated by the method proposed can enhance the power supply for significant loads and improve the reliability of distribution network.In the end of this thesis,the operation mode and the island partition method proposed are implemented into program,and a software for analyzing distribution network reliability is developed by MATLAB GUI.With modules to support and manage accounts,manage data,help and support,the software can calculate the reliability and island partition of distribution network.Applied in real distribution network,the software can improve the reliability and enhance the stability of the distribution network.
