Research On The Design Of Art Museums Based On The Renovation Of Old Industrial Buildings

In the important period of economic transformation and social development,the original urban function and structure are facing the challenge of new demands.China’s economic development and urban construction are moving from extensive to intensive,and this urban renewal often leads to many buildings or even areas in the city failing to meet the requirements of the development of The Times and becoming dilapidated or even abandoned after losing their original functions.The old industrial buildings bear witness to the changes of history and times,are the material bearers of the collective memory of a specific era,and have historical and cultural values.On the other hand,in the whole life cycle of old industrial buildings,the gap between material life and functional life makes it still exist in the material life,but when the functional life disappears,new functions can be implanted through transformation to continue its economic and social value.Based on the research on the transformation of old industrial buildings into art museums,this paper probes into the transformation of old industrial buildings into art museums from several aspects,including design principles,design strategies,design methods and design practice analysis,in order to put forward design references and optimization prospects.This paper starts from the development of old industrial buildings and cultural industry under the urban renewal.Firstly,based on the relevant research background and significance and foundation,research objects and scope,and the development process at home and abroad,the basic research is carried out.The transformation of the building into the design trend of the art museum,that is,the transformation of the old industrial building in the field of cultural architecture is booming.Secondly,clarify the concepts,functional categories and spatial types of old industrial buildings,summarize the relevant literature and theory of the value of old industrial buildings and the transformation of old industrial buildings,the classification and characteristics of art galleries,and the functional composition and exhibition hall design of the museum.Through the case analysis and summary of the current state of the art design of the old industrial building renovation.Then,it analyzes the influencing factors of the transformation of old industrial buildings into art galleries,the characteristics of the spatial structure of old industrial buildings,the advantages of being transformed into art galleries,and the value of art museums to explore the transformation of old industrial transformations.Based on this,The transformation of industrial buildings into the design principles and design patterns of the museum.On the basis of research foundation and design analysis,the pre-assessment of old industrial building renovation is proposed,and the external environment design strategy including site environment design and appearance fa?ade design is summarized and includes structural processing,function updating,space layout and space transformation.And the internal environment design of the exhibition hall design,as well as the design strategy for the space flexibility and publicity of the museum.Finally,by selecting four typical cases,the case-based analysis and the sub-item analysis and evaluation methods are summarized from three aspects: urban memory retention and neighborhood vitality stimulation,old industrial building protection and reuse,and art museum reconstruction design strategy.Reflect on the influencing factors and strategies of the transformation design proposed in the previous section,and improve the logical argumentation of the research.Through the above methods and researches,this paper explores the art gallery design strategies and methods based on the renovation of old industrial buildings,in order to provide feasible Suggestions and references for the relevant renovation design.
