With the continuous development of social economy and the improvement of people’s living standards,and the building energy consumption are also greatly improved,which undoubtedly poses greater challenges to today’s increasingly prominent environmental and energy issues.As a result,people pay more attention to the technology of wind-driven natural ventilation in buildings,the reasonable natural ventilation technology can not only saves energy,but also improve the indoor heat and humidity environment.In order to make rational use of natural wind,we must first understand the characteristics of natural wind.Regarding the prediction of wind pressure and natural ventilation of buildings,the common method is to carry out a uniform average wind inflow.However,in recent years,people have found in the continuous exploration that the natural wind and the uniform average wind have great differences in the ventilation effect of the room.However,most of the research on the characteristics of natural winds is around the load on the structure,so the short-term instantaneous natural wind is concerned,while the natural ventilation should focus on natural winds over a longer period of the transitional season.Studies on the characteristics of natural winds and the predictive models over a longer period of time are currently rare.In this paper,the current research status of natural wind characteristics is summarized,and the basic concepts of natural wind related characteristics and the basic methods of obtaining natural wind speed time series are introduced.In this paper,the real-time three-dimensional wind speed data of Xi’an natural wind is obtained through the actual measurement in the past two years,and the obtained data is statistically analyzed.Based on this,the measured natural wind characteristics are analyzed,including average wind characteristics and fluctuating wind characteristics,respectively.While the fluctuating wind characteristics include turbulence intensity,turbulent integral scale,correlation coherence function,power spectral density,etc.,and the measured natural wind power spectral density curve is compared with the commonly used wind spectrumDavenport spectrum in China.According to different weather conditions,the measured natural wind data was classified and segmented.For the natural wind with a duration of 6 hours,the wind speed time series was analyzed by the combination of wavelet analysis and ARIMA model in time series method.The calculation model of wind speed time series is obtained,and the simulation results are compared with the corresponding measured data.The method is applied to model the measured natural wind data under multiple climatic conditions.By comparison,these models have the same form.For the natural wind with 1~2 wind speed intensity measured in 100 minutes,the fluctuating wind speed time series is simulated by the MATLAB programming method based on harmonic superposition,and the characteristics of the simulated fluctuating wind speed and the measured fluctuating wind speed(including frequency distribution,power spectral density,and autocorrelation)are compared and verified,and it is possible to obtain the natural wind time series according to the average wind of different sizes.This paper provides a method for modeling the natural wind time series for a long time,and the simulation model of the measured wind speed is helpful for the reliable prediction of wind-driven natural ventilation in buildings.
