Titanium alloy TB2 is single-phase β-Ti exhibiting high strength high toughness and high modulus,mainly used in the manufacture of all important aerospace components.In order to meet the requirements of high precision and high strength creep aging sizing has been used in 90% titanium alloy sheets forming.It is necessary to research the mechanical properties and creep properties of TB2 comprehensively for developing forming process more effectively.However it’s lack of research on these aspects at present.In this paper a set of uniaxial tensile tests at different temperatures and different pre-deformation+ aging conditions were carried out for titanium alloy TB2 which had been solution-treated for 30 min at 800℃,air-cooled to room temperature.The tensile properties at the relevant state were obtained and linear hardening constitutive equation which can describe the deformation after TB2 alloy yielding was established.The influence of pre-deformation on tensile properties of aging TB2 alloy was also analyzed.A set of uniaxial tensile creep tests at different pre-deformation,temperatures and stress levels were carried out for titanium alloy TB2,and the creep behavior and the effects of pre-deformation on creep behavior were determined under basic thermo-dynamics conditions of aging sizing.New constitutive equations were established which can well describe creep behavior of TB2 with different pre-deformation accurately at different stresses and temperatures.Then the effects of pre-deformation and temperature on parameters in the new constitutive equations were analyzed.Finally based on the creep constitutive equations and the parameters the finite element software ABAQUS was used to establish the simulation model of TB2 titanium alloy satellite band aging sizing.The reliability of the simulation model was verified by experimental study.
