In the chemical industry waste heat,taking advantage of low temperature waste heat of aromatic hydrocarbons distillation device is now getting much attention by many research scholars,because the whole technological process has abundant low temperature waste heat to use.This paper used heat releasing by C8 aromatic hydrocarbons condensing as heat source of ORC power generation system,designed a organic radial turbine for this kind of system,finished performance analysis of radial turbine on ANSYS Workbench platform.Main contents are as follows:(1)ORC power generation system is mainly using the releasing heat coming from the process of C8 aromatic hydrocarbons from tower to condensate return flow.Bsaed on the character of C8 aromatic hydrocarbons,dry and wet of working fluid,security,evaporation and condensation factors,fluid physical property,along with the influnce on the total power generation system performance for different working fluid,select R600 a as the organic working fluid of the whole system.(2)Based on parameters of ORC power generation system at design point,completed the one dimension aerodynamic design and three dimensional modeling design of 200 kW organic radial turbine whose inlet pressure is 1.6MPa,outlet pressure is 0.5MPa,I nlet temperature is 383.5K.(3)Based on the designed high efficiency organic radial turbine using CFX finish numerical simulation of turbine at design condition,studied aerodynamic performance of turbine.The distribution of design point pressure,temperature,velocity,mach number showed turbine's good performance at design point.At the same time,studied off-design operation performance of changing the inlet temperature,pressure,and rotating speed of organic radial turbine.(4)Making the numerical simulation results: pressure distribution,temperature distribution mapping on the solid blade as aerodynamic load and temperature load,along with centrifugal load produced by rotation speed,finished strength analysis of organic turbine at design point.For the more dangerous rotor blade,finished off-design strength analysis when the situation is varying the organic radial turbine's inlet pressure,temperature,and rotation speed.
