In recent years,with the increase of the amount of motor vehicles,the traffic environment is becoming more complex.In order to improve traffic safety,reduce traffic jams,and optimize driving experience,the concept of vehicular networks emerged.In the first place,the vehicular networks is solely about vehicular ad hoc network(VANET)which is mainly developed on the basis of WAVE.Although VANET had largely promoted the development of vehicular networks at the beginning,the poor scalability and high latency are always the weaknesses,which restrict the improvement of the vehicular networks.Therefore,VANET is still at the laboratory stage and has not been successfully deployed so far.With the fast development of Mobile cellular network,the arrival of the 5G provide a way to solve the difficulties faced by VANET.How to take advantages of 5G technology into vehicular networks is a question well worth to study.By analyzing the key technology of 5G,it can be found that 5G technology could provide strong support to the development of vehicular networks and help to overcome the difficulties faced by vehicular networksHowever,the network security problems have to be addressed firstly before the real deployment of 5G-enabled vehicular networks.Moreover,considering the vehicular networks are closely bound up with the safety of people's life,property and privacy,how to make sure the information transmission in 5G-enabled vehicular networks is secure,fast and effective is particularly important.Consequently,the main purpose of this paper is to propose a traffic safety message secure transmission method in 5G-enable vehicular networks by optimizing and combining different encryption algorithms such as block cipher,digital signature,anonymous certificate authentication scheme,and public key encryption with keyword search.The objective of this transmission method is to help participating vehicles securely,efficiently and immediately transmit the traffic accident information,and so that the police cars,ambulances and fire engines can response towards the traffic accidents in time to minimize unnecessary casualties in the accident.By analyzing this transmission scheme from security point of view,it can be argued that this transmission scheme could fully protect the privacy of the participant vehicles,and also satisfied other securities requirements such as non-repudiation and traceability.Finally,through the result of the simulation experiment,it can be proved that,this transmission scheme has high operating efficiency and it can ensure to complete the secure transmission of 2GB video message less than one minute on the basis of 5G connection speed.
