Shipboard-helicopter launch and recovery on narrow flight deck, and the process will be affected by ship motion, sea surface wind speed and ship airwakes, which will easy cause flight accidents. In this paper, the simulation of ship airwakes are carried out firstly, and then the dynamic interface is simulated based on CFD results. The ship airwakes produced by ship motion belongs to turbulence, and its flow characteristics are extremely complex. The flow of air through the ship's upper buildings and hangars forms a complex swirl zone above the deck, including small-scale turbulence towed from structures such as antennas, chimneys, weapon systems and radar arrays. There flow characteristics indicate that the air flow field of the echidna is an unsteady, nonlinear and turbulent complex flow.Based on the CFD simulation technology, the full-scale simulation of the ship airwakes of the simple frigate model SFS2 is carried out in this paper. The CFD simulation uses a double precision pressure-based solver,RNG 6)– ? turbulence model and a PISO algorithm. The ship airwakes at different wind angle is calculated and analyzed. The unsteady ship airwakes are interpolated and converted to facilitate the dynamic interface. After completing CFD calculation,a helicopter flight dynamic model is established based on simulation software FLIGHTLAB.The model includes rotor model, tail rotor model, fuselage model and ship model. And compared with the flight test data. Finally, the dynamic interface of the helicopter in the ship airwakes is carried out,and the pilot control load under different conditions is preliminarily analyzed.
