Finite element model updating is an important part of the bridge structural health monitoring.Plenty of uncertain factors exist in factual engineering structural analysis.Uncertainty model updating can lead to more reasonable results.Obtaining parameter updating results through the optimization algorithm is a key step of model updating.The main contents of this paper is the uncertain model updating method based on improved bee colony algorithm,including the following aspects:(1)The development history of finite element model updating theory and method are introduced.Focus on the basis of theory and research status of several types of uncertainty model updating.The advantages and disadvantages of each method and the applicable conditions are discussed.A series of processes of the uncertainty model updating method are leaded.(2)To solve complex heavy constraints of model updating,the artificial bee colony algorithm is proposed.The fundamental of ABC algorithm is analyzed.The optimization process of ABC algorithm is explained deeply.Simulated by standard numerical test functions,which proves that the algorithm can calculate faster and overcome the local optimal solution problem.The non-probability interval analysis theory is analyzed.The last,using ABC algorithm to find the optimal solution in the interval range.(3)The proposed algorithm is used in model updating of cable-stayed bridge According to the actual situation of a model cable-stayed bridge,the finite element model of the bridge was established by Midas Civil.The surrogote model of the Gaussian function neural network of the finite element model is established by uniform design experiment.According to the measured data of the model bridge,accomplishing the interval value of the parameters of the finite element model updating and the updating results is tested.The superiority of ABC algorithm in model updating is verified by the satisfactory results.
