Wear is one of the main reasons for the failure of mechanical equipment. It often occurs during the relative sliding process of contact objects, which will cause a large loss of financial, material and human resources and reduce production efficiency. There are many factors affecting the wear failure, the frictional heat is the important one.The microstructure and wear resistance of the material are severely affected by temperature changes resulting from the frictional environment. Therefore,it is very important to study the influence of friction heat on wear resistance of materials. In this study, aiming at the frictional environment of the middle groove of the scraper conveyor, the laser cladding iron-base alloy sample was taken as the research object. The influence of friction heat on wear resistance of laser cladding iron-based alloys was studied. The main contents were as follows:Firstly, the iron-based alloy cladding coating sample with better comprehensive mechanical properties has been taken as the research object,a pin-disk friction pair model was established. The ANSYS finite element simulation software was used to study the temperature field variation of iron-based alloy coating'^surface under dry friction and wear condition with different loads.Secondly, according to the friction and wear environment of the scraper conveyor middle groove, the temperature measurement test bench was designed to obtain the friction temperature time curves with different loads. What's more, the simulation results were compared and analyzed to verify the correctness of the pin-disk model.Finally,pin-disk friction and wear experiments were carried out with different loads by the dry friction and wear test machine. The microstructure, wear morphology,micro-zone composition and phase composition of laser cladding iron-based alloy coating were observed by using optical microscope, scanning electron microscope and other equipment.Besides, the influence of frictional heat on the wear resistance of laser cladding coating with different loads was revealed by combining the temperature-time curves of simulation and measurement. Therefore,it provided a theoretical basis for the study of the influence law of mechanical wear friction heat on the wear resistance of laser cladding iron-based alloy. In this study, the influence of friction heat on the wear resistance of laser cladding iron-based alloys in the friction process of mechanical equipment was studied, which is useful for solving the problems of equipment failure and low service life caused by high friction temperature with complex working conditions.Meanwhile, the application of laser cladding iron-based alloys is provided with great reference.
