Research On HNA Group’s Financial Crisis

Under the background of the Fed’s monetary tightening policy and rising global borrowing costs,China’s economic growth has slowed down significantly,and the fundamentals of the Chinese economy are inevitably affected.At the end of 2017,the People’s Bank of China has set up a special financial risk tracking department to monitor the domestic and international situation,especially the debt problems of large enterprises.Some enterprises represented by HNA Group benefited from the global quantitative easing policy in the early stage,adopting a high-speed expansion strategy and achieving fruitful results of rapid expansion.But behind such companies are saving money in the most amazing way.Once the economy goes down,it is likely to have a financial crisis.HNA Group’s strategy of implementing global M&A expansion since 2004 has been widely questioned.Since its first concern in 2011 due to debt problems,its discussion of its capital risk has been endless.Until mid-2017,due to a series of financial problems,it triggered discussions on the financial crisis.At the same time,the main business of HNA Group is the civil aviation industry,which is closely related to the people’s livelihood in China.If the financial crisis of HNA Group is allowed to spread,it may affect its main aviation industry and affect the national civil aviation network.Therefore,research on HNA Group The financial crisis has strong timeliness and practical significance.This paper selects the financial crisis of HNA Group as the case study object,and firstly describes the crisis events of HNA Group in two stages,and then judges the current crisis of HNA Group mainly through qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis.Based on the correlation between decision model variables and internal and external factors,the author explores the root causes of HNA Group’s financial crisis from both internal and external dimensions,and analyzes its consequences and countermeasures,and summarizes the HNA Group and other parties.Enlightenment from the enterprise.Specifically,this article is divided into the following four main parts:The first part,the introduction.This includes research purposes,meaning,methods and paths.At the same time,through the combing and summarization of the literature,the problems studied in this paper are brought out.The second part is a case study.This part introduces the industry situation and company profile of the research object,and describes the beginning and end of the HNA Group crisis event in two stages.The third part is case analysis.Mainly based on the above incidents,judging the financial crisis of HNA Group,re-analysing the causes of the financial crisis,the consequences of the financial crisis and the rationality of the coping style adopted by the company.The fourth part is mainly based on the above analysis.Based on the current measures of HNA Group,it makes practical suggestions for HNA Group and summarizes the enlightenment to other companies.
