Aiming at the problems of the the redundancy of the self-centering shear wall reducing,the risk of collapse of the self-centering wall and its structures increasing which are caused by the broken of the post-tensioned prestressed reforcement and the energy-consuming common steel bars in the self-centering concrete shear wall under great earthquakes,build the new structural systems of the self-centering wall with friction dampers which can increase structural redundancy and robustness.The outstanding feature of the new structural systems is that the external friction dampers can be progressively activated at different levels of ground motion.To achieve the effect of hierarchical energy consumption,it is especially important that the friction dampers with rigid plasticity characteristics provide the resistance and energy dissipation effects after the post-tensioned tendons or the energy-consuming ordinary steel bars are partially broken.In this paper,the research work has been carried out in three aspects:materials,components and components:First,for the steel sheet,brass,C/C composite materials,the effects of three materials as friction plates were analyzed,and 19 sets of friction dampers were completed by combining different preload force levels,the number of long holes and position parameters.The low-cycle repeated loading test of the components establishes the friction effect and friction energy dissipation mechanism of the friction materials based on different abrasion positions;Secondly,the hysteretic behavior and energy dissipation capacity of different friction dampers are quantitatively analyzed.It is suggested that the friction dampers of the brass sheet are stable and the energy-consuming effect of the rigid-plastic friction-slip phase is determined;The ratio of the frictional force to the pre-tightening force of the different friction plate materials and the number of long-hole slots,that is,the equivalent friction coefficient,provides a theoretical basis for further application of the frictional energy-consuming components;Thirdly,the quasi-static test of self-centering concrete shear wall of external friction energy-consuming components was completed,and its hysteretic behavior and energy dissipation capacity were analyzed.Compared with the conventional self-centering shear wall,proposing the self-centering concrete shear wall’s activation mechanism which considering the effects of the friction dampers.
