First describes the research status of structural vibration control, and then focuses on the research on variable damping semi-active.In recent decades, scientists have paid more and more attention to the research of vibration control. The application of passive control, active control and semi-active control structure systems in life and production is also increasing. The variable damping semi-active control device controls the flow rate of the liquid flowing through the servo valve by adjusting the opening size of the servo valve in the hydraulic cylinder by the force generated by the seismic wave.Furthermore, the pressure difference between the two cylinders in the hydraulic cylinder is adjusted to provide a continuously variable damping force to the structure,so as to achieve a damping force equal to or close to the active control force, thereby achieving a shock absorption effect similar to the active control.Through builded a 20-story steel structure model to analyze the damping effects under different seismic waves.According to the Longge Kutta method, the equation of motion of the multi-degree-of-freedom system under the semi-active variable damping device is established. The model is established by MATLAB,and the damping effect under the condition of no isolation,semi-active control and active control is compared. The final result is that a variable damping semi-active control device is installed in the building, and the interlayer displacement, floor displacement, floor speed and floor acceleration have obvious effects.By setting a variable damping semi-active control device on each floor of the building,it achieves an ideal damping effect.Figure 55;Table 12;Reference 42.
