With the increase of national per capita income year by year,the large use of various non-linear power loads makes the power grid structure of our country more and more complex.The use of a large number of non-linear loads by power users in the same distribution network leads to the increasingly prominent power quality problems in the distribution network.The main way to effectively solve power quality problems in distribution network is to configure various types of power quality regulators in the same line to suppress power quality problems.However,the occurrence of power quality problems in distribution networks is simultaneous and diverse.It is difficult to achieve the unified coordination among different types of power quality regulators.The input of a large number of different types of power quality regulators is not only difficult to achieve stable operation of the system,but also increases the cost of equipment.Unified Power Quality Conditioner can effectively solve the problems of power quality such as voltage drop and three-phase unbalance in distribution network while solving the problems of coordination among the above-mentioned types of power quality regulators.In this paper,a large number of non-linear loads are used in a metallurgical industrial park in Shenyang,which leads to a variety of power quality problems.For this reason,this paper will use UPQC to control the power quality of the industrial park.This thesis first analyzes the basic situation of a metallurgical industrial park in Shenyang,and selects the rolling mill with serious power quality as a pilot.It focuses on the current status of power quality in the rolling mill,and proposes to use UPQC for power quality control.Secondly,the basic structure of UPQC is compared,and the appropriate topology is selected as the research structure of this paper.At the same time,the control algorithm of the serial link and parallel link of UPQC is designed,and the simulation is used to verify the correctness of the designed content.Then,The UPQC device was designed.The basic functions of UPQC were completed through the system's parameter design,hardware design and software design.The designed device was used for experimental analysis to verify the power quality management function of the device.Finally,the designed device was put into trial.Run and analyze the test results and operational benefits.
