Low Back Pain(LBP)is a clinical syndrome, its main symptoms are pains on lower back, waist, sacral, buttocks.Incidence rate of LBP in china is 30%,the elderly suffering from high rates of 70%.In terms of individuals, the incidence rate of back pain in their lifetime is 70%.LBP is the second most common clinical symptom after respiratory diseases. Therefore, the need to prevent low back pain should cause everyone's attention. The development of modern science and technology such as Internet makes people sit longer and longer each day. Therefore, maintaining the normal physiological curve of lumbar in sitting posture is a powerful means to prevent low back pain. This article focuses on study of maintaining the correct posture of the human body.First of all, this article starts from the problem analysis of the causes, classifications and symptoms of lower back pain.By introducing normal physiological state of the human spine and force situation, this article established the link between the improper posture and low back pain and then made clear the importance of correct posture.Secondly, the correct sitting posture was analyzed. The pelvis forward, lumbar lordosis and proper support of the lower back muscles were considered as the three elements to maintain correct sitting posture. These three elements were also used as a basis for evaluation of existing sitting correction products and the design of new rehabilitation cushion.Thirdly,a new type of rehabilitation cushion was designed based on spatial linkage mechanism and gravity-drive principle,Geometrical and mechanical analysis were carried out. Finally,a physical model of the rehabilitation cushion was made. And its effectiveness to maintain the normal physiological curve of pelvis forward, lumbar lordosis and provide appropriate support to the lower back were evaluated by measurements of spine curve and the EMG signal of low back vertical muscle. The follow-up research on rehabilitation cushion is prospected...
