Design For Reinforcing Project Of Gongjia Reservoir In Fushun

Gongjia Reservoir has been in operation for 60 years,there are widespread safety hazards in multipurpose project and it has serious operational risk.The crash of Gongjia Reservoir will threaten nearly 2600 people and all houses at the downstream of the reservoir will be flooded,it will threaten the safety of the Shen-Ji railway,the highway of Shen-Nan and the loop highway just run called Center of Liaoning,and the communication facilities will be paralyzed,it will cause huge economics losses.Therefore,it is necessary to timely reinforce the Gongjia reservoir.In this paper,through analyzing the project actuality,hydrology and geology of Gongjia Reservoir,it will follow specifications and use the result of calculating for designing eliminating and reinforcement project which aim at the dangerous problem such as the dam cannot fulfill the standard of prevent freezing,upstream and downstream slopes of Dam are damaged and unstable,the main part of spillway is badly damaged and leaking water seriously.The main designed content in this paper includes two parts.There are several measures aim at the dangerous problem of the dam,for example increase the height of dam to elevation of 17.5m,repair the broken rock slope over elevation of 8.5m at upstream,repair the broken gravel slope and cover turf slope at downstream,re-level dam crest and lay the 300 mm gravel road surface,set kerb on the both sides of road,thicken surface drainage body which top width is 2.0m,add dam observation facilities on the surface of the dam.Other measures aim at the dangerous problem of the spillway,dismantle and re-build the structure which is broken,cut slope of rock mass besides the right side wall of drain,replace two new plate steel gates with a width of 6m,do curtain grouting for the main body of spillway.Through re-check and calculating for reinforced project of Gongjia Reservoir,the indexes meet the requirements of the reinforcement,and the design results are reasonable and effective.Through the research for designing of eliminating and reinforcement project of Gongjia Reservoir,it could provide the reference basis for the design of eliminating and reinforcement project for same type of reservoir in Fushun city even central eastern mountains area of Liaoning province.This design has characteristics such as the construction amount of reinforcement project is less,the construction technology is simple and efficient,the construction period is short,the disturbance to the existing project and the downstream villages is small,the project investment is less,they all could well satisfy the design requirements of similar reservoir reinforcement,and it has certain significance for reference.
