In recent years,the continuous increasing in sales and ownership of electric two-wheelers,not only aggravates the current situation of traffic congestion,but also leads to the frequent accidents of electric two-wheelers.The accident can easily lead to the brain injury of the cyclist,and pose a threat to people's lives and property safety.It also brings huge pressure to the related departments dealing with the accident.In addition,the design of automobile active safety system also pays much attention to the speed of vehicle in the process of collision.At present,the velocity of reconstruction of such collision mainly depended on the velocity of reconstruction method of car to bicycle or motorcycle collision.The methods of velocity reconstruction mostly based on traces,simulation or video.Moreover,the velocities deduced from these methods have some certain errors,and the size of the errors have not been analyzed effectively or quantitatively.EDR(Event Data Recorder)accurately records the velocity of the sedan before the collision,so this paper introduced sedan's EDR data,taking the sedan's velocity recorded by EDR as the standard,quantitatively analyzed the errors size of the results of 3 commonly used sedan's velocity of reconstruction methods,and analyzed the applicability of these methods.In order to reduce the result error based on PC-Crash reconstruction speed and improve its application efficiency,according to the actual case,the orthogonal test was designed to study the parameters' sensitivity of the sedan to electric two-wheelers side collision reconstruction system,so as to guide the reconstruction of such accidents.The contents of the study are as follows:(1)65 cases of sedan to electric two-wheelers accidents were selected from NAIS(National Automobile Accident in-depth Investigation System)-Songjiang site database,to analyze electric two-wheeler' characteristics and the characteristics of the accident.3 common methods which were used to reconstruct velocity of vehicle for car to electric two-wheelers accident were analyzed in detail,and the errors of each method in parameters selection and measurement are summarized.(2)Analyzed of 2 types of events recorded by EDR: Deployment and Non-Deployment;selected 42 common data,which were defined as 5 categories,according to the existing EDR reports,explored data sources of vehicle speed,engine speed,throttle opening and brake pedal,analyzed the application of EDR data in the road traffic accident velocity identification and how to use the EDR data to solve the principal direction of force of vehicle collision.(3)With a case of sedan to electric two-wheel accident,which has both the EDR data of the sedan and the monitoring video,based on the EDR data,the error size of the velocity of each method was analyzed quantitatively.And combined with the number and the access methods of parameters required for these methods,the application of the three kinds of velocity reconstruction methods were analyzed under different conditions.Among them,the error of vehicle velocity reconstructed based on PC-Crash is maximum: 11.76%,and its application is more complicated.(4)According to the sedan's velocity calculation model of the sedan to electric two-wheeler side collision,and attribute of simulation parameters based on PC-Crash,10 parameters that have great influence on the reconstruction result of such accidents are determined.Based on the actual cases,the orthogonal experiment was set up,and the sensitivity sorting of sensitive parameters related to each index was determined by the analysis of variance.Depending on the study conclusion,the same case is guided how to reconstruct sedan's velocity secondly.The results show that the relative error of velocity which was deduced from reconstruction secondly from the previous more than 10% dropped to less than 10%.Furthermore,this method also can greatly improve the efficiency of reconstruction.As a result,the credibility and reliability of the sensitivity analysis conclusions wer well verified.
