Automobile headlamp is the key part of automobile illumination,its quality affects the appearance and performance of the whole vehicle.In the manufacturing process of car lamp,due to complex production process and production links,the top dirt,broken or missing lamp ears,and the side dirt and other defects inevitably appear in the finished products.These defects will affect the appearance,assembly and performance of the headlights,so they must be detected and identified.Machine vision is a branch of artificial intelligence,which mainly refers to the use of machines instead of human detection to do measurement and judgment.It is often used in some dangerous environments that are not suitable for manual work or where it is difficult to meet the requirements,especially in the process of large-scale and repeated industrial production,machine vision detection method can greatly improve the efficiency and automation of production.This paper develops an automobile headlamp quality detection system based on machine vision,and proposes an image detection algorithm.The research work,main achievements and innovation points of this paper are as follows:1.Designed the overall structure and electrical control system according to the actual requirements of lamp detection and the imaging system according to the detection objects.2.Proposed a method based on histogram of edge points to locate the product according to the defect detection on the top and side of the lamp head.On this basis,after image preprocessing,the defects of each part were extracted by blob analysis.3.developed a prototype,whose detection speed can reach 80 / min.Practice has proved the practicability of the prototype and the validity of the image detection algorithm meet the requirements of real-time,high-speed and high-precision detection of auto lamp production line.
