With the rapid development of radio frequency and microwave measurement technology,vector network analyzers that can accurately acquire the characteristics of microwave networks have become indispensable modern electronic measuring devices in the field of test instruments.The main content of this thesis is a dual-port vector network analyzer software system design.The software parameters of the vector network are used to set the instrument parameters to control the hardware data acquisition.The raw data uploaded by the hardware platform can be calibrated and analyzed.Complete the measurement of the full S parameter of the dual port network,and select different formats for display according to requirements,with good human-computer interaction function.In the thesis,the overall scheme of software system design is given according to the measurement requirements of the network software,and then the design and implementation process of each functional module is introduced in detail.The main thesis contents of the thesis are as follows:1.Measurement/calibration algorithm for S parameters.The S-parameter measurement algorithm mainly includes the transmission reflection parameter algorithm and the Smith chart algorithm reflecting the impedance characteristics.After the measurement data transmission calculation is completed,the calibration algorithm is used to calibrate the hardware upload measurement data according to the error model.2.Graphical display of S parameters and marker measurement function.the software provides a variety of display formats for measurement results including amplitude,phase,group delay,standing wave ratio,polar coordinates and Smith chart,and also provides marker measurement function,which is convenient for users to observe and analyze the graphics.3.Instrument control command.The design instrument command parameters realize the control function of the whole machine and provide the parameter setting window.Based on the TCP protocol,the data/instruction transmission between the underlying hardware and the host computer software is realized through the network port.4.Window layout management.This article is based on PyQt(Qt Python language package)to achieve the software interface architecture design,using Dock window control for multi-window design,with arbitrary arrangement of layout features.This thesis completed the software system design of the dual-port vector network analyzer,and debugged and verified on the vector platform of the network.Each function module can work correctly and effectively,and achieve the expected effect of the design of the network software system.
