With the increase of the penetration rate of wind power in the power system,the randomness,volatility and uncertainty of wind resources have an impact on the economic and safe operation of the power grid.The operation strategy of the wind farm is directly related to the power flow distribution,network loss and voltage stability of the system.If the impact of wind resource volatility on these indicators is not dealt with,the wind power grid connection will lead to the deterioration of power quality of the grid and the decline of system stability.Nowadays,most of the wind turbines in the wind farm are wind turbines with power electronic equipment.For such wind farms,the reactive power of the wind turbine itself can be used to provide reactive power compensation,and the reactive power reference given by the power grid can also be achieved.This method is economical and easy to implement.Based on this,this paper proposes three optimal wind farm operation strategies considering reactive power compensation:(1)Optimization strategy of reactive power operation of wind farm based on loss minimization.The strategy comprehensively considers the power loss of each part in the wind farm,optimizing the reactive power reference value of each wind turbine.The PSO algorithm is used to find an optimized operation strategy to minimize the total loss of the wind farm.(2)Optimization strategy of reactive power operation of wind farm based on LPC minimization.The strategy considers the minimization of the total loss of the wind farm and the maximization of the lifetime of the wind farm.The reactive power reference value of each wind turbine is optimized.The PSO algorithm is used to find an optimized operation strategy to minimize the LPC of the wind farm.(3)Optimization strategy of active power and reactive power cooperative scheduling operation of wind farm based on LPC minimization.The strategy considers the minimization of the total loss of the wind farm,the maximization of the lifetime of the wind farm and the maximization of the total power generation of the wind farm.The pitch angle and the reactive power reference value of each wind turbine are optimized.The PSO algorithm is used to find an optimized operation strategy to minimize the LPC of the wind farm.In order to verify the proposed strategy,this paper uses a wind farm composed of 25 5MW permanent magnet synchronous wind turbines for simulation.The three strategies are compared with the traditional operation strategies to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed strategy.
