These years,the bucket foundation is widely used with the development of marine platform.Then the study on uplift bearing capacity of bucket foundation become remarkable topic.Based on water-soil coupled analysis,the bucket foundation finite element model is developed to analyse the response of bucket foundation under various pullout loading.According to post-program and business software Femap,numerical visualization and data analyses are proceeded.Comparison with experimental results shows the proposed method is validity.Some information are represented,such as time history of displacement and water pore pressure,suction mechanisms and damage models of soil.The uplift bearing capacity of bucket foundation under various loading is further calculated and safety area is established based on pullout loading and bearing time.The research conclusion can be summarized as follows:(1)the shear failure occurs under vertical pullout on undrained condition;the tensile failure occurs on drained condition;(2)the cyclic loading leads to vertical accumulated displacement and decrease uplift bearing capacity of bucket foundation;(3)uplift bearing capacity of bucket foundation decreases under the long-term sustaining loading;(4)the wave cyclic loading has adverse affection on bearing capacity of bucket foundation.
