In recent years,China's auto industry has grown rapidly,the total production and sales has been first in the world for seven years.In order to meet the market demand,it is imperative to reduce the development cycle of new models.When developing the new product,the fatigue durability of components plays a decisive role in both quality and safety of the automobile.In the evaluation of the fatigue life of components,indoor single load bench test is currently the most widely used evaluation methods.Based on the rapid evaluation needs of enterprises in the work piece testing stage,this paper studies the standard development of the newly developed torsion beam rear suspension bench test.With the help of ADAMS multi-body dynamics simulation software,the digital model of torsion beam rear suspension can be easily built.And by using the signal results of the vehicle road test as the input of the multi-body dynamics simulation,the loading histories of the selected area can be plotted as well.After importing the loading data into LMS-tecware,the fatigue damage of the signals can be calculated,and as a result the specification of the bench test is established by analyzing the fatigue damage.According to this,the procedure of formulating bench test specification using computer-aided simulation is established.Finally,the bench test was carried out by using the standard developed by this method.The test results are satisfied,which provide the experimental basis for the later durability test.This is significant for enterprises to speed up the parts certification cycle and save the test cost.
