Design And Development Of An Online Interactive Display System For Furniture

In the age of Internet,users are no longer satisfied with products and services from the enterprises passively.The traditional industries are transforming to the Internet gradually.In the field of furniture,there is still a large number of users who keep the habit of watching and testing product,which leads to the traditional offline purchase coexisting with the online purchase.The experience of offline purchase and convenience of online purchase are the main purchase experience of these two methods to attract consumers.In the paper,based on gesture recognition technology,generate an high-quality furniture display system through the gesture recognition instrument in order to provide users with excellent interactive experience of a series of process from selection to purchase.The system defines a series of ergonomic gestures including drag,rotate,zoom and other operations.user can observe the display of furniture and practice or test assembling the furniture in the virtual 3D graphics interface in real-time.After the formation of the purchase intention,it will generate the corresponding purchase list that will be sent to manufacturers for distribution.The research will carry on the modular design to satisfy the users' personal customization requirements.Through the Leap Motion device it will monitor and recognize the operation gestures and get real-time feedback to the changes in interface.In the paper,we hope to design a new furniture display system based on Leap Motion gesture recognition technology combined with furniture modularization,and study the trend of furniture display with human-computer interaction in the future.
