With the rapid development of the national economy and the electric power industry,the State Grid has been greatly transformed.Smart meters are being promoted on a large scale nationwide as an important part of the "smart grid".China is accelerating the transformation and replacement of traditional electric meters.The smart meters production must be factory-tested with the standard of the state and production enterprises.According to the display defects and appearance defects existing in the smart meter products,the overall scheme of the smart meter display quality detection system is developed by means of machine vision detection technology,and the smart meter display defect detection system designed and implemented according to machine vision,and the image in the detection system The collection and processing technology is studied to ensure the quality of the smart meter,improve the detection speed and automation,and reduce the labor level of the inspection operation.The main research contents of this thesis include:(1)Analysis of defect characteristics,inspection requirements and related background of smart energy meter and research and application analysis of machine vision technology;understanding machine vision by consulting relevant literature and visiting companies that have applied machine vision technology to similar manufacturing processes The scope of application,the actual use and the results achieved.(2)Using machine vision technology to implement quality inspection for smart meter display defects,and design and implement the image acquisition system,mechanical platform system and software system of the detection system.Image acquisition system design and implementation: the use of out-of-band trigger industrial cameras and matching lenses,according to the detection needs,the use of strip LED light source,through a certain method,clear collection of the desired picture.Design and implementation of mechanical platform: integrated AGV logistics trolley,loading plate and conveyor belt to form the transport unit module;build the feeding system and induction system;use servo drive and motor to achieve four-axis precise linkage.Software system design and implementation: develop the upper computer to realize the precise linkage of motion platform,communication control and quality feedback mechanism;the software is based on OpenCv open source database,and it is programmed in C++ language on the Mircrosoft VS 2013 platform to process the collected pictures.And analysis.(3)Analysis and research of image preprocessing and defect detection algorithms.Through the analysis of common image preprocessing methods,the methods used in this thesis(graying,denoising,binarization and mathematical morphology operations,etc.)are confirmed.Based on OpenCV open source vision library,the defect detection algorithm is designed: The image is matched by Gauss pyramid,and then the defects are analyzed and detected by subtraction method,including the identification of the barcode and characters,and the purpose of the smart meter display defect detection is achieved.(4)Carry out the reliability experiments of the system and analyze the experimental results.The accuracy of the automatic detection system is validated by multi-batch sampling tests at different time intervals.At the same time,the causes of misjudgement are analyzed to determine the future direction of system improvement.
