The crowd emergency evacuation simulation problem has significant researching and engineering value in the fields of architectural design,urban planning,disaster prevention drills,film special effects and games.The crowd emergency evacuation simulation system that conforms to the real situation can effectively guide people in emergency situations with escaping and evacuating behaviors.Some key technologies like path-planning and crowd simulation still have defects such as the inefficiency of the path finding algorithm and the lack of reality of the crowd simulation.Based on the above researching background and technical problems,this thesis proposes an improved path finding algorithm and a crowd simulation method.The main researching contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,aiming at the low computational efficiency of traditional A* path finding algorithm and the number of traversal vertices required for path-finding,this thesis proposes an improved A* algorithm based on MAKLINK map.The improved algorithm can effectively improves the efficiency of path finding and expands the applicable scenarios;Secondly,this thesis discusses the emotional model and personality model in the crowd simulation.Combining with the two methods above,this thesis proposes a comprehensive crowd behavior simulation method based on individual feature modification.The simulated crowd created by this method with emotion-attributes,personality-attributes,and individual characteristics are more authentic than the previous simulation crowd.Combined with the researches above,this thesis implements a crowd emergency evacuation simulation system.The modeling of the simulated scenario of the system is based on real building.The system can simulate the wandering activities of the simulated crowd under normal circumstances and the escaping activities in emergency situations.Subsequently,this thesis has summarized the study results,and looked forward to the direction of work in future.
