With the continuous development of communication technology,the related technologies and applications of the Internet of Things have developed rapidly in the past few years.From hardware to software,a set of mature technical schemes have been proposed.At the same time,some intelligent applications of the Internet of Things have emerged.In these applications,the smart home system based on the Internet of Things is a simple and practical application system,which makes full use of the characteristics of the Internet of Things and is close to the lives of ordinary people.Smart home has obvious improvement effect on the family life experience,which is convenient for people's life.It is of practical significance to design and implement a smart home system based on Internet of the Things.Based on the research of the system structure of the Internet of Things and the related technology of wireless sensor networks,a smart home system based on the Internet of Things is designed.The functions and characteristics of the system are analysed.In addition,the overall topology and system compositions of the system are designed.Meanwhile,the sensor hardwares needed in the system,including home gateway,intelligent sensing equipment,and intelligent control equipment etc,are studied and given.According to the characteristics of Internet of Things,the analysis of the practical application scenario,and environment of smart home,Zigbee is chosen as the protocol of the smart home communication network.CC2430 chip produced by TI Company is selected as the basic hardware chip of system sensor network.The star structure is chosen as the sensor of Internet of Things based on the characteristics of the data transmission,development cost,and difficulty of sensor network in the home network.The light sensor node is designed based on the photoresistor.The temperature-humidity sensor is designed based on the SH10 patch.Smoke sensor is designed based on the MQ2.The carbon monoxide sensor is designed based on CO/CF-1000.Meanwhile,the power supply mode of sensor node with the Zigbee communication association modulator is properly designed.The home gateway module is fabricated based on the S3C6410 chip,which is produced by the Samsung.In the aspect of the remote control equipment,the electrical control node is designed based on electromagnetic relay.The relay can control the electrical equipment according to the signals.The system uses ZigBee protocol as the communication protocol between terminal nodes.The basic concepts,network topology and basic structure of the protocol are analyzed.On each sensor node,we designed the logic of joining network,establishing communication and data transmission.The gateway node can transmit data from home ZigBee network to Internet network.Testing the data acquisition of sensor and the communication process between nodes shows that the system can monitor the key parameters,such as temperature and humidity.And also can realize data transmission function.Users can grasp the home environment remotely through the background system according to their needs.The smart home system based on the Internet of Things has many characteristics,such as simple,practical,easy to operate and easy to maintain.It also realizes the monitoring of the home environment and the remote operation of some equipment through the human-computer interaction interface,which has certain practical value.
