The earthquake is a very serious natural disaster that has caused tremendous damage to the structure.The installation of a damper in the building can effectivel y reduce this damage.However,the displacement in the input damper is affected by various factors.Therefore,the damper does not function effectively.Amplifying the displacement on the damper can solve the problem that small inter-story drift affects the performance of the damper.At present,the amplification principle and structure of the displacement amplification mechanism have been analyzed by researchers at home and abroad.However,the displacement that can be amplified is limited.In view of this,a new type of displacement secondary amplification mechanism was proposed in this paper,carried out the following aspects:(1)The research background and research significance of this topic were introduced,and the research status and engineering application of viscous dampers at home and abroad were summarized.(2)The type and performance of viscous dampers were described in this paper.The amplification principle and structural analysis of the displacement amplification mechanism developed by domestic and foreign researchers were summarized.(3)Based on the existing downward toggle support displacement amplification mechanism and scissor-type support displacement amplification mechanism,a new displacement secondary amplification mechanism was proposed.The reinforced concrete frame structure was designed by PKPM design software,and the model of the reinforced concrete frame structure was built by OpenSEES software for numerical simulation.The maximum displacement of the top layer,story drift ratio and the maximum acceleration of the energy dissipation structure with the viscous damper and displacement secondary amplification mechanism were analyzed by numerical simulation.(4)The seismic response of a high-rise building structure with a viscous damper and a displacement secondary amplification mechanism was analyzed in this paper.With the viscous damper parameters as the control variables,the influence of the parameters of the viscous damper on the energy dissipation structure was studied.The influence of the position of viscous dampers on the energy dissipation structures was studied.In summary,the amplification factor of the displacement secondary amplification mechanism through theoretical research and numerical simulation analysis was deduced in this paper.The seismic response of energy dissipation structures with viscous dampers and displacement secondary amplification mechanism was analyzed by numerical simulation.Reference and basis can be provided by these results for setting energy dissipation devices in energy dissipation structures.This research was considered as an important practical significance and application value.
