Research And Practice Of Green Roof In Construction

Along with the economic leap development,China’s urbanization process has been accelerating,and the material living standards of ordinary people are getting higher and higher.However,the rapid expansion of the city has brought about a series of big city diseases,such as population congestion,reduced greening rate,heat island effect,and environmental pollution.Planting roofing as a technical solution to improve the greening rate and improve the microclimate has emerged as the times require,and has received much attention in recent years.In the planting roofing project,the successful application of the theoretical techniques of planting roofing to practice is a huge challenge.This paper adopts the research-analysis-practice approach to provide theoretical guidance for the development of planted roofing.First introduced the related technologies of planting roofing,including waterproof technology,plant selection and planting technology,water storage technology and planting matrix configuration and selection.After that,combined with the several planting roof projects in Dalian,I discussed in detail how the theory of planting roofing is applied to engineering practice.The analysis shows that the rational application of planting techniques can effectively improve the quality of planting roofing projects.This experience can also provide advice and reference for engineering practices in urban planting roofing.This article consists of three chapters.The first chapter introduces the significance of planting roofing research.At the same time it also introduce the research status at home and abroad,and at last introduces the roofing theoretical,including the concept of planting roofing,related terms,classification and research motivation.The second chapter covers the theory of planting roof construction,including planting roof construction,waterproofing techniques,plant selection,planting techniques,water storage technology,planting matrix configuration,and planting substrate selection.The third chapter is the combination of theory and practice.Based on the analysis of the current planting roof related technology,combined with the Huang Nichuan D10 plot and the Hekou Bay A01 plot project,the theory and practice,and how to waterproof the planting roof.Techniques such as plant selection are applied to engineering practice.Through in-depth study of the theory of planting roofing and the field considerations of planting roofing projects,we have overcome many difficulties such as balcony flower trough leaking,seedling death,seawater infusion and garage planting load requirements.
