In order to promote energy reform and realize low-carbon energy structure,the coal-to-electricity conversion project has been implemented in northern China.With the continuous advancement of coal-to-electricity projects,the application of large-scale air-source heat pump heating systems has become more and more widespread,and has become an important part of the safe and stable operation of the power grid.The unbalanced load of power grid will cause disadvantages and damage to public utilities,and will seriously threaten the safe operation and load efficiency of the grid.Therefore,how to promote the air source heat pump clean heating system on a large scale,while avoiding the adverse effects on operation of the power grid,and responding positively to the emergency demand of the power grid to ensure the normal and efficient operation of the power grid has become one of the current research hotspots.Although there has been some progress in the research on peaking of power grids by air source heat pump heating,there is a certain difficulty in the implementation of intermittent operation control in the regulation process.However,there are many researches on regenerative air source heat pumps focusing on performance,there are relatively few quantitative studies on the impact of air source heat pump thermal storage systems on grid load.Therefore,in view of the above problems,this paper deeply studies the influence of air source heat pump heating on power grid load.The research results of this paper will help to solve the problems of increased grid load imbalance and load rate,which may be caused by the promotion and application of large-scale air source heat pump system in coal-to-electricity process,and improve the operating efficiency and safety of the grid,so as to better realize the green development of coal-to-electricity conversion project.Taking Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei power grid as an example,this paper uses Energyplus energy simulation software to simulate the impact of large-scale application of air source heat pump heating system on grid load in different stages of heating period in residential building simulation in Beijing suburbs,and analyzes the possibility and advantages of optimizing regulation and control on the user side to meet the demand response of power grid.Firstly,this paper analyzes the effects of air source heat pump(ASHP)continuous heating,ASHP intermittent heating and air source heat pump thermal storage system(ASHP-HS)heating for the local 3 million users on grid peak-to-valley load and grid load balance in different heating stages.Secondly,on the basis of the above research,the effects of three different heating methods on load of power grid its economy are compared.Finally,this paper optimize the operation scale of different air source heat pump heating systems during heating period from the perspective of the improvement of grid load imbalance and grid load rate in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.The results of the above research indicate that:(1)ASHP continuous heating can reduce the imbalance of the power grid during the early and late cold periods,but it will increase the peak-to-valley difference of the grid during the severe cold period.In addition,the heating method will lead to the reduction of the grid load rate and reduce the operation efficiency of the power plant.ASHP intermittent heating and ASHP-HS heating can reduce the peak-to-valley difference of the power grid,improve the grid load rate,and improve the operating efficiency and economic benefits of the power plant,and the latter effect is better.(2)ASHP intermittent heating has the lowest operating cost,compared with the ASHP continuous heating,each household can reduce the operating electricity cost by 36.83% per year,saving 523.26 yuan;ASHP-HS heating operation cost is second,but its initial investment is higher,and the recovery period of the increased cost part is only 3.5 years compared with ASHP continuous heating,which has a better whole life cycle.(3)The number of users should not exceed 750,000 when ASHP continuous heating can ensure the safe,stable and efficient operation of the power grid.The number of users of ASHP intermittent heating should be 2 to 2.5 million,and the number of users of ASHP-HS heating should be 2.5 to 3 million households.Therefore,the application of ASHP-HS heating mode can meet the heating needs of more local users while ensuring the safe,stable and efficient operation of the power grid.
