With regards to site selection,preparation and subsequent flood prevention design of coastal nuclear power plant,the external water flooding is an important factor to be considered.The key is how to effectively avoid the water flooding.Flood control has been fully considered in the site selection and design of new nuclear power plant in order to minimize the possibility of flooding.Due to lack of historical data,analysis method and low level of design basis flood,there are some defects in flood control facilities which poses a great threat to nuclear power plant.Based on the related hydrology and engineering data of the coastal nuclear power plant,this thesis focuses on water flooded design analysis through establishment of SWMM(Storm Water Management Model),simulation of the operation status of drainage facilities and dynamic water level.In this thesis,theories of rainfall,overtopping,flow-production,surface runoff,and ponding are summarized.Compared with the characteristics and reliability of the domestic and foreign model,SWMM model is chosen as the analysis model of external water flooding process in the nuclear power plant.The dynamic simulation of external flooding in a nuclear power plant is carried out.The rationality of drainage facilities can be verified based on the designed rainfall intensity condition.The overtopping water will be simulated into the SWMM model through the node-input way.This method is explored based on rainfall superimposed overtopping mode.At the same time,dynamic process of regional ponding and analysis of flooding of different regions can be realized by simulation model.The flooding analysis method of multi condition and multi mode based on SWMM model is refined.So the ability of flood prevention under the exceed design standard condition can be improved in the nuclear power plant.The results provide theoretical basis for strengthening the management of flood control,formulating emergency plan,establishing early warning mechanism,improving the operation management level of nuclear power plant and nuclear safety level.
