Spiral bevel gear transmission is an essential parts of Aerospace,Aviation,Shipping and Automobile in mechanics transmission.According the high load capacity,small noise and other specifics,it has an indispensable position in transmission parts of helicopter.It has the large demands no matter for military or for civil,even in unmanned helicopter,with the rapid development of China's economy.Therefore,the method to understand advanced foreign technology rapidly and to independent design,calculate,simulate,verify will become important,include the improvement of design iteration.The above research about Spiral bevel gear transmission will provide theoretical basis and technical accumulation for the cutting-edge technology like reliability verification and dry operation technology.In this paper,author will focus on the Spiral bevel gear of Type X Helicopter Intermediate Gearbox(IGB)and Tail Gearbox(TGB).It will improve the efficient and accuracy using the mapping method of imported prototype's transmission parts and CATIA software.Measure the gear surface and obtain data points-cloud using coordinate measuring machines(CMM),a set of mapping method for spiral bevel gear is formed.3D model was built based on fitting tooth surface using CATIA,by contrasts between 3D model and Matlab's theoretical tooth surface,a reference schematic of tooth surface wear degree is obtained.According to the application and requirement of Type X Helicopter,calculate the spiral bevel gear secondary bonding ability and load capacity using Matlab,verifying the optimum solution of geometry parameter,analysis sensitivity of several important geometric parameters to safety factor.A set of design,calculation,verification and optimization process will be formed.It will improve the reducer design efficiency,shorten the product development cycle.Finally,the design and calculation of Spiral bevel gear in reducer ground simulation test platform of Type X Helicopter will be completed using the design and verify method.Confirmed the method could improve design efficiency to meet the design requirements,shorten the product development cycle.
