Pressurizer is one of the important equipments in the primary circuit of PWR,thus the Pressurizer water level control system whose function is to control the pressurizer water level and primary circuit pressure plays an important role in the safe and normal operation of nuclear power plants.This thesis mainly concerns and analyzes the PWR pressurizer water level control system and pressurizer water level measurement methods.By analyzing the structure,function and operation principle of the water level control system,the thesis takes emphasis on the measurement value of the pressurizer water level,which is the key input to the level control system.The thesis also states that using proper measurement method and compensation is the main direction to improve the pressurizer water level measurement.Based on the Industrial Formulation IF97 for the thermodynamic properties of water and steam,this thesis presents the level control compensation formula which is verified by modeling and simulation.The analysis and simulation in the thesis proves the advantages of the compensation formula over the traditional methods.Mastering the general method for improving the pressurizer water level measurement can effectively enhance the reliability of the pressurizer water level control system as well as the safety of the plant operation. |
