In order to meet the varying need of market,automobile manufacturers must introduce a more efficient feeding system on the assembly line.AGV system,as an important means of logistics informatization and automatization,is the key equipment of automatic logistics transportation system and flexible production system,which plays a great role in enterprise information construction,reducing labor cost and improving enterprise efficiency.Initiated by Toyota,SPS is a new system to feed the assembly line with better adaptability to JIT production.This system uses trolleys synchronous with production line instead of material storage rack beside line and is gradually adopted by automobile enterprises.The research object of this paper is SPS system based on AGV and the work of this paper can be divided into three main parts.Firstly,this paper introduces AGV and SPS respectively,including development process,composition system,function characteristics,practical application of AGV and necessity,advantages,limitations of SPS implement and so on.Then the operation procedure of AGV-based SPS system is analyzed.Secondly,according to the actual situation,a mathematical model is established,taking the amount of AGV and total transportation time as objectives,capacity restriction and time window as constraints.Then a numerical example is solved by CPLEX.Finally,a case of AGV-based SPS system is introduced,combined with a large number of live pictures.The advantages and improvements of this system is listed in detail.
