The paper conducted requirement analysis for the virtual cardiovascular interventional surgery simulator.Mechanical improvements and circuit improvements were conducted according to the requirement.The wedge for the force feedback structure,the fixing structure for the limit switch and the fixing structure for the displacement sensor were redesigned to achieve higher precision and reliability.The connection and layout of the circuit were redesigned to achieve higher stability and reliability.The paper studied the displacement detection precision of the simulator.Experiments of a series of input curves were conducted.The results showed that the displacement detection met the requirements of the simulation.The force feedback gives haptic interaction to the trainee during the virtual surgery.The paper analyzed the virtual model and calculated the force needed in the forward-and-backward direction for better simulation effects.The paper analyzed the result and the efficiency of the calculation.The paper studied the force feedback precision of the simulator.The calibration was done by fitting the force results in the cases of constant force values.And experiments of a series of input curves were conducted.The results showed that the force feedback met the requirements of the simulation.
