Steel plate shear wall is a new type of lateral resistant structure system suitable for high-rise building.In order to improve the insufficient seismic behavior caused by the excessive out-of-plane buckling deformation of the thin plate shear wall,a new type of steel plate shear wall buckling-restrained by cold-formed steel with hat-section was proposed in this paper which can realize the integration of structural function and building function.Theoretical analysis,experimental study,and numerica l simulation were used to study the mechanism,seismic behavior and design method of steel plate shear wall buckling-restrained by cold-formed steel with hat-section without the lateral resistant contribution of the edge rigid connection frame.The main contents of this study are as follows:(1)The quasi-static test of one pure steel plate shear wall and six steel plate shear wall buckling-restrained by cold-formed steel with hat-section specimens under reciprocating shear load were carried.Based on the experimental phenomena and experimental data,the damage failure modes,bearing capacity,energy consumption capacity,stiffness degradation,cyclic bearing capacity degradation and deformation capacity of steel plate shear wall buckling-restrained by cold-formed steel with hat-section were studied,and the influence of various parameters on the buckling restraint and seismic behavior of steel plate shear wall structure were compared.(2)Fine finite element models considering the cyclic strengthening effect of steel and the finite slip of connecting bolts were built through ABAQUS finite element calculation program.The accuracy of the finite element model was verified by comparing the simulation results with the damage failure mode and skeleton curve of the test results.(3)The structural performance were simulated by single parameter change of the spacing of connection bolts,the external crimping length,spacing,cross section design of cold-formed steel with hat-section,steel material strength,aspect ratio and height-thickness ratio of embedded steel sheet shear wall.The influence degree and regularity of each parameter on the structural performance of steel plate shear wall buckling-restrained by cold-formed steel with hat-section are obtained,and some suggestions on the construction of buckling restraint are given.(4)By combining theoretical deduction with parameter fitting,the proposed calculating formulas for the structural stiffness,yield bearing capacity and ultimate bearing capacity of steel plate shear wall satisfying the suggestions on the buckling restraint construction of cold-formed steel with hat-sectiona were determined.The method for establishing the double equivalent substitution of stiffness and bearing capacity cross-bar model used for the whole structure calculation was given.
