For cold-formed thin-walled C-section steels,there are three modes of buckling: local buckling,distortional buckling,and overall buckling.Previous studies mostly focused on local buckling and overall buckling,and the distortion buckling was delayed because of its late understanding and its own complexity,which made it impossible to reach consensus on many research results,and further research is needed.First of all,At home and abroad based on the existing of stiffening cold-formed thin-walled C steel buckling test research as the foundation,with the large finite element software ANSYS to analyze and verify the validity of the finite element numerical analysis,on the basis of this model set the v-shaped stiffening and U stiffening,and carries on the analysis of characteristics of buckling and considering the initial defects after buckling analysis,buckling bearing capacity is obtained and the ultimate bearing capacity;Through finite element analysis,the different height of stiffener web mode,crimping height of stiffener size of axial compressive bar buckling mode and buckling bearing capacity,the influence of ultimate bearing capacity,the key research without stiffening of the cold-formed thin-walled C steel,v-shaped stiffening cold-formed thin-walled C steel with stiffening cold-formed thin-walled C steel U this several models:(1)with the increase of the stiffening height,the buckling capacity of the component becomes larger and larger,and the distorted buckling phenomenon is also effectively controlled.(2)the maximum ultimate bearing capacity of web single v-type stiffening and u-type stiffening members is reached when the stiffening height range is H/2~7H/13.The maximum ultimate bearing capacity of the web flange joint V stiffening and U stiffening member is reached when the stiffening height range is H/4~5H/12.
