High Magnetic Field Technique is important in modern scientific research.The Repeated Pulsed Magnetic Field has been widely used in TMS,NMR and Terahertz Radiation.To improve the performance of Plused Magnetic Field System,single-phase rectifier is used in low power Plused Magnetic FIeld Power Supply,and three-phase rectifier is used in high power Plused Magnetic Field Power Supply.In this paper,the development of Pulsed Magnetic Field Power Supply front stage PFC rectifier is reviewed,and the topology of several Boost Type PFC Rectifier is analyzed.Finally,a GaN-based 5kW interleaved Totem-Pole PFC and a SiC MOSFET based 21kW Vienna Rectifier are developed and tested.Totem pole PFC is a single-phase bridgeless boost type PFC with high efficiency,it is an ideal topology for PFC rectifier in low power Repeated Pulsed Magnetic Field Power Supply.With the development of GaN device,the totem-pole PFC can work at several kilowatts in CCM Mode.This paper introduced the basic Totem-Pole PFC operation mode,selected and calculated the losses of key components,finished loss breakdown analysis and optimized the thermal design for power semiconductors.A novel high-speed gate driver is designed for Infineon CoolGaN IGOT60R070D1 device,and the dynamic characteristic is tested by Double Pulse Test.Vienna Rectifier is a three-phase three level PFC rectifier.In this design,a carrier-based modulation scheme used in T-Type converter is implemented,the voltage spike issue at zero-crossing area is solved by control the back-to-back SiC device seperately.System loss is calculated and the thermal design is optimized.For EMI filter design,a feedback damping resistor is added to common-mode loop to improve the phase margin and stability.A double-row arrangement of power semiconductor device is proposed to reduce the commutation loop inductance.The prototype of Totem-Pole PFC and Vienna Rectifier are tested at full load conditions.In the Interleaved Totem-Pole PFC 5.4kW DC-DC test,the full load efficiency can reach 99.1%and the temperature of the GaN device is only 50.6~oC.In the 21kW full load test of Vienna Rectifier,full load efficiency is 98.5%and SiC MOSFET device temperature is 68.7 ~oC.Experimental results verified the design concepts and high efficiency.
