Nowadays,more and more retail enterprises are using the delivery mode of cross docking for logistics service.There are two main advantages of cross docking.One is that the tallying link has no storage function to effectively reduce inventory costs,and the other is that the cross docking mode is just-in-time distribution,to a certain extent,can deliver goods in time.But if we want to effectively implement the cross docking to achieve enterprise goals,we must consider the vehicle routing problem.Because in the actual logistics distribution process,vehicles in charge of distribution will be constrained by various practical conditions,the most obvious of which is the impact of urban traffic control on vehicles,because the traffic control policy restricts the section and travel time of trucks,thus increasing the cost of logistics distribution and the difficulty of logistics distribution.In order to effectively solve the negative impact of traffic control on retail logistics routes with the cross docking,this paper carries out corresponding research.Firstly,this paper elaborates the concept and process of the cross docking.Based on the process of the cross docking,the necessity of overall optimization of the cross docking path is analyzed.Then it describes the traffic control policies related to freight transportation and analyses their impacts,and then puts forward the problem of routing optimization of single-cross docking centre with traffic control constraints.In view of this problem,an optimization model is established,which also takes into account the need to ensure that the satisfaction of distribution customers can not be lower than a certain level in the process of logistics distribution.At the same time,according to the characteristics of the cross docking,the collection vehicles are required to arrive at the distribution center in coordination.Secondly,in order to make the research more comprehensive and practical,this paper further studied path optimization problem of the multi-cross docking center with traffic control constraints on the basis of path optimization problem of the single-cross docking center.To solve this problem,a VRP optimization model is established and a corresponding genetic algorithm is designed.Finally,the model and algorithm are applied to the case.The results show that the model and algorithm proposed in this paper are effective,and can provide the vehicle routing planning scheme under traffic control scenarios for company.At the same time,By comparing the results of two distribution modes,we can see that the logistics cost of the multi-cross docking mode is less than that of the single-cross docking mode under the traffic control situation.Based on the comparison results,enterprises can adopt multi-cross docking mode to carry out logistics distribution when pursuing the least cost of logistics distribution.The problem of retail logistics routing optimization with cross docking under traffic control scenario studied in this paper is an extension of the traditional vehicle routing optimization problem,which provides a direction for the future research on logistics distribution routing optimization with traffic control constraints.
