In the underground cable high-speed transmission engineering based on OFDM system,there is a certain error between the underground transmitter carrier frequency and the receiver's local oscillator frequency,phase noise is also added to the transmitted signal.In this paper,the influence of phase noise on OFDM systems is studied,which is mainly reflected in the introduction of Common Phase Error(Common Phase Error,CPE)and Inter-carrier Interference(Inter-carrier Interference,ICI)for OFDM systems.These two effects will seriously destroy the subcarriers.Inter-orthogonality,leading to a decrease in system performance.Therefore,this paper chooses a method with lower complexity,better suppression effect and easy hardware platform to compensate for the influence of phase noise.In this paper,phase noise is first modeled and analyzed,and the LMS algorithm,which is easy to implement and fast in convergence,is selected as the basis of adaptive filter design.Then the effect of LMS algorithm on phase noise suppression is verified with Matlab.Finally,the hardware platform of the OFDM communication system with adaptive filter module is designed by combining Quartus II and Matlab,so as to verify the feasibility of this method in practical application.
