| Pile-type permeable breakwater is a new type of hydraulic structure in port construction and ocean engineering.Compared with the traditional gravity type breakwater,the pile-type breakwater’s construction material is more reasonable in the direction of water depth,and the structural body is concentrated near the free water surface.It has little impact on the marine ecological environment and hydrodynamic environment,which is conducive to exchange of water inside and outside the breakwater and suitable for waters with deep water depths.With the features of simple structure,low cost and efficient construction work,pile fundation type breakwater has a good application prospect.The pile-type permeable structure is mostly a combination of simple plates.It is not ideal for the wave absorbing effect of large period incident waves.It is necessary to explore the type of pile-type permeable breakwater and improve the wave-eliminating effect of the whole structure and spread it in port construction and ocean engineering.In order to analyze the hydrodynamic characteristics of the interaction between the breakwater and the wave,this paper establishes a two-dimensional numerical wave flume mathematical model based on the finite volume method and the VOF method.Three new piletype fundation breakwaters are analysed,which are L-type breakwater,step-type breakwater and combination-type breakwater.The verification of mathematical model is to compare the numerical calculation results of the T-type breakwater with the theoretical analysis results and the physical model results.The results are well fitted,the mathematical model is proved to be correct.It can simulate the wave information around the structure and wave pressure of structure’s faces perfectly.The mathematical model is used to calculate the wave elimination effect of the L-type breakwater and the step-type breakwater under three different working conditions.It is analyzed and discussed the wave information before and behind the breakwater: the incident can climb and surmount the breakwater;the incident wave can climb but cannot surmount the breakwater;the incident cannot climb nor surmount the breakwater.Through comparing the calculation results and discussing the characteristics of different kinds of breakwater,we can know the advantages and disadvantages of the L-type breakwater and the step-type breakwater under different working conditions.At the same time,the effects of different upper structures on wave energy consumption and the distribution of wave pressure are analyzed.Finally,the mathematical model is applied to calculate and analyze the hydrodynamic characteristics of the combination-type breakwater.It is analyzed and discussed the wave information before and behind the breakwater when the incident can climb and surmount the breakwater.And at the same time,we also discuss the influence of the relative hight and relative position of the rear vertical plate on the wave elimination effect.Furthermore,the effect of rear vertical plate on the distribution of wave pressure is also discussed. |
