| For recent two decades,automobile industry in China has developed rapidly.With the expanding scale and the maturing market,the problems of slow increase rate,redundant product platforms,reallocated resources and forth are emerging.The focus of the development should be turned from the original production and sales to quality and health.In the large-scale development of automobile industry,product platforms are the mainstream.How to evaluate product platforms,how to chooses the product platforms suitable to Chinese automobile industry to allocate resources efficiently and accurately,to reduce the costs of developing,producing,selling and supply chain,and to improve the competitiveness of the product and optimize the operation system,have already become the key factors that determine whether automobile companies could develop sustainably.The current evaluation system of automobile product platforms depends on the opinions of experts.Due to the difference and localization in experts’ experiences and knowledge,or the difficulty in quantifying evaluation indicators when assessing the problems but these problems influence the assessment.To assess the product platforms reasonably and effectively,the research provides a method: through comparing and analyzing main product platforms to achieve difference indexes and establish assessment systems,design quantifiable evaluation questionnaires and gain decisive data via interviewing experts,combine AHP and D-S Theory of Evidence to analyze data,and evaluate the pros and cons of automobile product platforms.This means reduces the influences of subjective factors on the evaluation to some degree and is beneficial to guarantee the objectivity of the evaluation.This study takes the most representative Modular Platform,the Architecture Platform and the Broad Platform as the examples to analyze empirically and explain the method of application of the evaluation system mentioned above. |
