| With the increase of air conditioners owned by urban residents in the Yangtze River Basin in China, the problem of building energy consumption in the region has received extensive attention.Occupant behavior is an important factor that affecting the energy consumption of air conditioners. The diversity of energy consumption of household air conditioning is caused by differences in occupant behavior. The use of air conditioners by personnel is not only affected by the environment, but also by the work of personnel. The energy consumption and usage behaviors of household air-conditioning were investigated and analyzed through questionnaires and field tests for typical residential households in the main urban area of Chongqing.Based on this, the usage behavior model of household air-conditioning was established to guide the research on air-conditioning usage patterns in the simulation software.Firstly,a questionnaire survey of household information and a survey of air-conditioning operations were conducted for 8 two-bedrooms and one-living room and 8 three-bedrooms and one-living room in Chongqing.By analyzing the energy consumption data of air conditioning, the air-conditioning energy consumption of the three-bedroom and one-living room households is 30% higher than that of the two-bedroom and one-living room, and there is a difference in air-conditioning energy consumption among the households.By analyzing the operation data of air conditioning, the usage behavior of the air conditioner are conducted, including the usage rate and the usage time of the household air conditioner, and different air conditioner start and stop times caused by different people’s work and rest.Secondly, the influencing factors of energy consumption and usage behavior of household air-conditioning were analyzed. The results show that family structure has little effect on air conditioning energy consumption, while family members have a certain impact on air conditioning energy consumption. The number and gender of children in the family affect energy consumption. The air conditioning usage behavior is affected by the indoor and outdoor environment: when the indoor temperature is higher than 30℃,the air conditioner will be turned on,and the opening probability of air conditioning increases as the outdoor temperature increasing. At the same time,it is observed that the use period of air-conditioning of bedroom and living room of two rooms and one living room is complementary, while the use period of the three-bedroom and one-living room households are coincident. The more complex of the family structure, the higher the possibility of simultaneous use of air conditioning in the bedroom and living room. Finally, the air-conditioning use model of the master bedroom, the second bedroom and the living room was established by using the logistic regression model and cluster classification.Outdoor temperature is an important factor affecting the probability of air conditioning use.As the outdoor temperature increasing, the air-conditioning use probability increases with the “S-type” curve: when the outdoor temperature is less than 25℃,the use probability of the air conditioner grows extremely slowly. When the outdoor temperature is between 25℃and 40℃,the probability of using increases rapidly as the outdoor temperature rises. The daily running time and daily electricity consumption of air-conditioning of the main bedroom, the second bedroom, and the living room were clustered.Different categories of users were summed up,and the different start and stop mode of air conditioners in the master bedroom, second bedroom, and living room were obtained for office workers(on rest days and weekdays),non-office workers(adults + toddlers),and non-office workers(student). The air conditioning start-stop mode of common household structure was summarized in Chongqing, and the simulation software DeST-h was used to simulate the summer energy consumption. The air conditioning energy consumption under the mode is almost the same as the actual measurement, and the simulation results are more realistic. |
