The special-shaped column composed of concrete-filled square steel tubes is a combined structure formed by a single square steel tube concrete column connected by fasteners,which not only has the advantages of high concrete-bearing capacity,superior seismic performance,good fireproof performance etc,and has a flexible shape of a special-shaped column section.It is easy to decorate and increase the space used by the house.This paper mainly relies on the public rental housing project of Fukang Homeland in Cangzhou City.It optimizes the cross-section size and the connection mode between single limbs for L?T and cross-shaped square special-shaped column composed of concrete-filled square steel tubes.The bearing capacity of the optimizated components is analyzed by theoretical and numerical methods.The analysis of seismic response of the braced frame structure with irregular columns in the the standard floor.As follows:(1)The section size and the single-leg connection mode of the special-shaped column of the typical floor in the building 5 with 18 floors were optimized.The section size was reduced by 10 mm,while the steel plate connection mode was optimized as the lacing bar connection mode without changing the material properties.The axial compression bearing capacity of the special-shaped column of the before and after optimization by using superposition theory.The results show that as the bearing capacity of the special-shaped column decreases by 10.5% on average as reducing 10 mm.(2)The axial compression bearing capacity of the special-shaped column of F ukang project was simulated by ANSYS.After the analysis of the optimized special-shaped column under static load,the deformation diagram and displacement cloud di agram obtained by the analysis show that the optimized special-shaped column 110mm×110mm×6mm and 100mm×100mm×6mm have obvious deformation.The maximu m displacement is 131.9mm.(3)The modal analysis and seismic response time history analysis of elastic stage ofFukang projects and five after optimization model by using SAP2000.Through the analysis of vibration mode ? frequency ? cycle ? modal mass ratio and the interlayer displacement angle.The results show that it does not meet the limits which specified in the?Technical specification for concrete structure of tall building?(JGJ3-2010)when the section size is less than 120mm×120mm×6mm.The excellent column section size is120mm×120mm×6mm,connecting the single limb with lacing bar.
