There are many studies on tubular intersecting joints, and great achievements have been made at present. However, many details are still insufficient, and the software operation is complex and inconvenient for engineers, using finite element tools to analyze the performance of joints, which affects the quality and speed of finite element modeling analysis.ANSYS is used as a tool to study the tubular joints in this paper. The main research contents are as follows:(1)The finite element analysis method of tubular joints is studied.Considerations include mesh size, nonlinearity, convergence criterion, boundary and load, geometric weld simulation and bearing capacity determination. The results of modeling analysis can more simulate the mechanical properties of the observed objects in engineering practice or joint experiments better, considering the above details,so it can improve the reliability of finite element analysis of tubular joints.(2)The plug-in for modeling and analysis of tubular joints based on ANSYS is completed, which can complete the modeling and analysis of intersecting nodes rapidly. The finite element analysis method obtained in the previous section is considered in the modeling analysis,it can accelerate the modeling speed.(3)Parametric analysis of the bearing capacity of multiplanar K-KT and KT-KT joints is carried out.A large number of finite element models of joints are established, and the effects of many geometric and load parameters on the bearing capacity of joints are obtained.Formulas for calculating the bearing capacity of space joints are obtained by multiple regression,on the basis of parameter analysis and finite element analysis results. The results show that the regression formula can meet the high accuracy requirements, and can reflect the impact of each parameter on the overall results, which has a certain engineering value.
