In order to reduce the energy consumption demand for heating and cooling in office buildings,the current research on building energy conservation mainly focuses on two aspects.One is to improve the building thermal performance by optimizing the envelope and materials of buildings to reduce the energy demand.The other is to improve the energy efficiency of air conditioning system to reduce unnecessary energy waste.Therefore,an office building in Wuhan is investigated for building energy conservation purpose.Energy saving studies is developed from two aspects of building window and VAV air conditioning system optimization.Experiment in two experimental rooms with the same size,orientation and structure was carried out to analyze the influence of the particle aerogel filled glass window and the ordinary window with double glasses on the indoor environment of the office building.The commercial transient simulation software is used to model the two forms.The temperature verification method is carried out for the reliability of model verification purpose by comparing the experimental data and simulation results.These two models are conducted in the office building energy-saving research at hot summer and cold winter climate zone.The dynamic indoor environment of the office building with two forms is compared and analyzed.And the dynamic annual cooling and heating load of the office building is predicted for equipment type selection.Considering the fan characteristic curve,new variable speed fan model is set up.Three kinds of model is used to analysis cooling season and heating season in air supply system operation and annual energy consumption.Finally,the experimental data analysis and simulation verification show that the thermal performance of the two forms is consistent with the experimental data.Comparing with the reference model,the energy consumption of the model with the particle aerogel forms can reduce the total annual energy consumption by 2.40%.Based on the granular aerogel forms model,the air supply temperature can be optimized according to the outdoor temperature level.Compared with the aerogels form model,the heating energy consumption can be reduced by 9.43%,the cooling energy consumption by 12.38%,and the total energy consumption can be reduced by 10.16%.Therefore,compared with the reference model,the optimization model combining aerogels form and air supply temperature reset can save 2.39% of the refrigeration energy consumption and 33.58% of the heating energy consumption,and the total energy consumption can be reduced by 12.32%,to save the energy consumption of building refrigeration and heating.
